Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend Cricket Association meetings as required
- Manage committee meetings/chair meetings
- Ensure office bearers and Committee Members fulfill their responsibilities to the Club
- Discuss the agenda items prior to the next committee meeting with the Secretary and ensure that it is circulated in plenty of time
- Facilitate planning
- Oversee all targets and performance goals
- Preside at all meetings of the Club and shall have a casting vote
- Ensure that planning for the future is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the members
- Ensure risk management policies are being adhered to
- Liaise with stakeholders such as local council and local community groups

Vice President

- In the event that you are made Acting President you need to undertake all the roles and responsibilities of the President or roles as required.
- Oversee and ensure that all sub-committees are responsible and accountable.
- Compile captaincy candidates for ultimate ratification by the full committee.
- Encourage and ensure that the captains undertake their roles appropriately and successfully.
- Act as a players advocate providing an avenue for players to air concerns in a confidential manner.

Secretary

Roles & Responsibilities
- Convene all club meetings and advise all potential attendees.
- Provide secretarial support to the committee, including preparing agendas in consultation with the President.
- Prepare, distribute and file minutes of all committee and General meetings of the Club.
- Complete Annual Reports
- Prepare a comprehensive report of all activities of the Club for the presentation to the membership at the AGM.
- Maintain an accurate copy of the Rules and By-Laws of the Club.
- Maintain a register of all members.
- Be familiar with the rules of the Club and the District Association
- Ensure all licenses required by the Club are current.
- Ensure that all Player details, Transfers and Registration are entered and maintained in MyCrciket
- Enter all Match and Player scores in MyCricket
Treasurer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare budget, in consultation with the committee to reflect income and expenditure of the Club for presentation at the first meeting of the year
- Maintain up to date records of all income and expenditure
- Maintain the club‘s cash flow and level of petty cash
- Prepare and distribute invoices/accounts for services rendered
- Attend monthly club committee meetings and provide a financial report
- Make details of all accounts available to the Club Committee and members
- Report activities of the portfolio to the membership at the AGM
Committee Members

- Remaining committed to the purpose and outcomes of the Club

Chair of Selections
Roles & Responsibilities
- Is a non-captain who is already a part of the committee
- Must have a good knowledge of the Team and players and their performance
- Is responsible with the captains to coordinate player availability
- Is responsible to coordinate the team selection meeting
- Is to ensure that teams are being selected on merit, suitability and with consistency
- Will have overriding decision on selections if Captains can’t come to agreement on selections
Club Captain

- Is the Captain of the First 11
- Has the required skills to play in the First 11
- Coordinates training and ensures that changes to times and dates for training are communicated
- Plus all the responsibilities of captain
Captain
Roles & Responsibilities
- With other captains and Chair of selections checks availability of players
- Participates in selection meetings to select players on merit, suitability and with consistency
- Ensure that the match is played according to the rules and traditions of the game. The captain is responsible for ensuring that the Spirit of Cricket is upheld at all times by all players in the team.Umpires decisions must not be questioned. Opponents must not be abused either by word or action. In such an event, and in the event of any kind of unsporting conduct by members of his team, it is the captain’s duty to intervene immediately.
- Communicate to players on where they are playing and when they are expected to be there
- Responsible to bring scorebook and Match ball and to ensure that the match scores are signed off at the end of the match
- Communicate Batting and Bowling order and delegate roles of Umpire and Scorer
- While winning is important it is the responsibility of the Captain to ensure that all selected players have the chance to participate in the match either through batting or bowling. This especially important outside the first 11.
- Liaise with other captain on gaining a 3-2-1 on players performance and pass these on to the President
- As Home Team the Captain will coordinate with their team to:
- Club rooms are open
- Ensure that all equipment is set up for the game and that it is packed up at the end of the game
- Afternoon tea is provided and is cleaned up at the end of the days plays
- Drinks are mixed and ready to go. Drinks and cups clean at the end of the days play
- The clubrooms are cleaned and tided after each days play
- Scoreboard, Chairs and Table are packed up and clean up any rubbish
